University of Iowa Signs Agreement for AmerisourceBergen Technology Group's Bridge-MedPoint

Valley Forge, PA - November 23, 2004 AmerisourceBergen Technology Group today announced that University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics has signed an agreement to install the Bridge-MedPoint point of care patient safety system. The Bridge-MedPoint system will help UI Hospitals and Clinics address the growing pressures of industry and payer organizations to eliminate preventable medical errors, thereby reducing the cost of care and improving patient outcomes. The Bridge-MedPoint system will also help UI Hospitals and Clinics identify root causes of systemic errors and provide information to drive process improvement.
