The election expands the AmerisourceBergen board from nine to ten members.
Mr. Cotros currently is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sysco
Corporation, North America's largest foodservice marketing and distribution
organization. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer of SYSCO from 1995
to July 2000 and assumed the additional role of president of the corporation in
1999.
Mr. Cotros has held several positions of increasing responsibility with SYSCO
since 1974 when his family's business, Tri-State General Food Supply, merged
with SYSCO. He was elected a member of SYSCO's Board of Directors in 1986.

Mr. Cotros serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater Houston Partnership.
He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Christian Brothers College,
Memphis, Tennessee.
